30: Zafran Parviz

My work is deeply influenced by the rich tradition of miniature painting and my obsession with yellow. Miniature painting is a tradition where intricate details and vibrant colors are used to tell stories and convey emotions.

I am particularly interested in exploring the relationship between tradition and innovation, and I often use my art to comment on how the past and present intersect. I am also deeply fascinated by yellow and its relationship to saffron. Yellow has a special significance in Persian culture, and saffron, a key ingredient in many Persian dishes and used for its medicinal properties, symbolizes wealth, wisdom, and happiness. I often use yellow as a central color in my illustrations, and I use it to express joy and positivity.
