I use AI style transfer techniques to re-create my photography in the style of famous artists, thus creating a bridge between my personal experiences and the art history.
In my work, I use AI style transfer to take my own photographs, often depict- ing my cultural heritage and experiences, and then apply the styles of famous artists such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and others. This allows me to ex- plore the relationship between my own personal experiences and the art his- tory, and to comment on the ways in which the past, present and future inter- sect.
I also use AI style transfer to create a new type of relationship between the original photograph and the final artwork, where the final artwork is not just a copy of the original photograph but a new piece of art that has its own identity and meaning.
